Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, role, revenue range, operational bottlenecks, project details, form answers, files and documents you upload through our intake forms, chat messages, booking details, and technical data such as page path, referral source, and basic analytics events.

How We Use It

We use this information to respond to inquiries, prepare Edge Audits, send implementation recommendations, manage client onboarding, deliver services, improve lead handling, prevent spam, and maintain business records. We also use it to deliver digital products you buy from us, and to send occasional marketing email where you have agreed to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.

Payments

Payments for digital products are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe's own secure checkout page. Tempered Edge never receives or stores your card number.

AI Course Attribution

On public AI course and Learn AI pages, we ask before storing a signed, pseudonymous first-touch cookie for up to 30 days. If you allow it, the cookie contains an opaque identifier, the public landing-page path, sanitized source, medium, and campaign labels, and the referring site's origin. It does not contain a full referring URL, search query, UTM term, UTM content, form answer, prompt, or course response. If you purchase the AI Setup Guides during that period, those limited attribution values may be attached to the Stripe transaction so we can understand which public resources lead to purchases. The same choice allows the base Meta Pixel on the AI Setup Guides landing page and confirmed-purchase page. Meta receives standard page and conversion events, the C$79 CAD product value, and browser or device data its Pixel normally collects. Tempered Edge does not send your name, email, search query, prompt, course answer, or customer record to Meta through this Pixel. Declining does not affect the free resources, checkout, course access, or support. The first-party cookie expires after 30 days; transaction records already created are retained as needed for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and business measurement.

Service Providers

Tempered Edge may use trusted providers for hosting, forms, analytics, email, calendar booking, CRM storage, automation, AI-assisted chat, and payment workflows. These providers are used only to operate the business and deliver requested services.

AI and Automated Processing

Our website chat assistant and some internal workflows use third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate responses and process submissions. Messages and information you send through these features may be transmitted to those providers solely to deliver the requested response or service. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the chat or public forms.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when needed to deliver requested work, comply with law, prevent abuse, protect our systems, or work with approved service providers.

Retention

Lead, client, and transaction records are kept for as long as needed for sales follow-up, service delivery, accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, measurement, and operational purposes. You can ask us to review, correct, or delete information where legally and operationally possible.

Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards, including hosted infrastructure, access controls, secure transmission, and limited internal access. No internet system is risk-free, so sensitive credentials should never be submitted through public forms.

Who We Are

This site is operated by Tempered Edge Technologies Inc., a corporation incorporated in the Province of Alberta, Canada, which is the organization responsible for personal information handled under this policy. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
