What changes

Move from generic answers to useful work.

The course teaches a repeatable process you can use for planning your week, preparing for an appointment, comparing options, writing clearly, or improving a business workflow.

Before

You ask a broad question, get a broad answer, and spend more time correcting it than the task was worth.

After

You give the tool a clear goal, the right context, firm boundaries, and a simple check. The result is easier to trust, edit, and reuse.

The problem

It isn't you.

You open the blank box. You type a question. It hands back something that reads like a press release nobody asked for. You try twice more, get the same beige answer, and go back to doing the work yourself.

So you decide AI is overhyped, or that you're not the type of person who gets it.

Neither is true. The tool shipped with defaults that are wrong for you, the settings that matter are buried three menus deep, and nobody handed you instructions. That is a setup problem. Setup problems get fixed.

Not sure where to start?

Choose the tool that fits your first real task.

ChatGPT and Claude are both capable. You do not need to choose a permanent winner or pay for both before you begin.

Use the free three-question starting tool to compare their practical strengths and get a private recommendation. No signup, and your answers stay in the page.

What's inside

One transformation path. Two current product guides.

The AI Command Center recommends the next useful action, syncs lesson progress to your purchase, records permanent milestones, and keeps every level open. The setup guides stay beside the course as current product references.

Your AI Command Center

See overall progress, the next session, each level, recorded milestones, recall reviews, your private route, setup profile, and the artifact you are building next.

Pick the right plan

Free, Pro, or a higher tier. You will see what each plan includes and which one fits your work, so you do not pay for unused capacity or choose a plan that cannot do the job.

Install, sign in, secure your account

Web, desktop, and mobile. Ten minutes to a locked-down account instead of a default one.

Privacy and data defaults

What gets used for training, how to turn it off, how long your data lives, and what is safe to paste or upload. Do this before you put a client file anywhere near it.

Get your first 5 wins

Start with a guided 8-to-12-minute task designed to produce one useful, checked result you can reuse.

Talk to it well

Prompting without the mysticism. Why your answers are generic and the specific changes that fix it.

Personalize it

Custom instructions, memory, and the "interview me" method that helps the tool understand you and your work.

Build reusable workspaces

Projects, so you stop re-explaining yourself in every chat. Set it up once, reuse it every time.

Connect your apps safely

Hooking AI to your files, calendar, and tools without handing over more access than the job needs.

The agent that does the work

Claude Cowork in the Claude guide, ChatGPT Work and Scheduled Tasks in the ChatGPT guide. Where it stops answering and starts doing.

Business workflow recipes

Read them, reuse them. Real workflows for quoting, follow-up, hiring, and admin, written to be copied rather than admired.

The Dual AI Prompt Vault

Use 100 practical personal and business use cases, each with a ChatGPT version and a Claude version. Search by outcome, copy in one click, or combine them through ten Prompt Workflows.

Your 30-day plan

A habit builder that puts the tool into your work, plus troubleshooting, a final checklist, a scorecard, and a plain-English glossary.

The AI Command Center showing the five course levels, progress, and the next useful step
Your AI Command Center keeps the next useful action, progress, levels, and milestones in one place.
A guided first-win mission with prerequisites, steps, and expected results
Guided missions turn reading into an observable result with expected outcomes and failure checks.
The private 100-point AI setup profile with prerequisite-based achievement bands
The setup profile separates points from prerequisites so advanced activity cannot hide missing security or verification.

Inside the product

You build the system while the course teaches it.

This is not a video playlist or a PDF wall of text. Each course lesson ends with an exercise and proof. Guided missions, decision labs, recall checks, copyable templates, private workspaces, permanent milestones, and 50 guide deep links keep the work moving.

See it for yourself. , free and ungated, exactly as it appears in the guide.

Why the updates matter

A guide written last year is worse than no guide.

These tools move constantly. Between one edition and the next you can expect:

  • Model names change, and the one you were told to use is gone
  • Pricing and plan tiers get reshuffled
  • Settings menus move, so the privacy toggle you turned off last spring is somewhere else now
  • New abilities ship that would have saved you hours if you'd known

A stale guide sends you to a page that no longer exists, tells you to pick a model that was retired, and leaves you assuming a privacy setting is off when it quietly moved. That is worse than starting cold, because you think you're covered.

Buy once and keep getting the current version for as long as I publish the guides. When the products move, I go through both guides, re-check every link and setting against the live product, and publish the new edition to the same library you already have. The address does not change, so you open it and the current edition is what loads. Both guides have been revised repeatedly since June 2026, and every edition is dated and listed on the , so you can check what is current any time.

If I stop publishing a guide, your access and the edition you bought stay yours. The protect that access.

Fit

Who this is for.

Built for you if

  • You want AI to help with the writing, admin, planning, and decisions already on your desk
  • You've paid for Claude or ChatGPT and quietly suspect you're wasting the subscription
  • You want custom instructions, connected apps, projects, and agent modes alongside the prompts
  • You run a business too, and want AI doing real work rather than sitting there as a hobby
  • You want your household or your team set up the same way instead of everyone improvising
  • You have no tech background and want plain English, not jargon
  • You'd rather follow a checklist than watch a two-hour video

Skip it if

  • You want a passive video playlist without exercises, checkpoints, or anything to build
  • You want prompt theory rather than a working setup
  • You're comparing every model on benchmarks. This is about using two tools well
  • You want someone else to do it for you. That is a different conversation, and it's at the bottom of this page

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is this a subscription?

No. It's $79 CAD plus tax once, and you're never billed again. Nothing recurring, nothing to cancel.

Why is there tax on top?

Tempered Edge Technologies Inc. is a registered GST/HST business, so Canadian buyers are charged the tax that applies to their province at checkout. Stripe calculates it and shows you the total before you pay.

I already pay for Claude or ChatGPT. Is this replacing that?

No. This is about using what you already pay for. You keep your existing subscription. The guides make sure you're getting your money's worth out of it, and the plan section tells you if you're on the wrong tier.

Do I need to be technical?

No. That's the whole point. Both guides are written for people with no tech background, in plain English, with a glossary at the back for any term that sneaks through.

How do I get in after I pay?

Stripe takes the payment, then two things happen. The confirmation page gives you a button straight into your library. Separately, an email is requested with your receipt and an unlock link you can click from any device to get back in. There is no password and no account to create. If you clear your cookies or switch to a new laptop months later, go to the unlock page, enter the email you bought with, and request a fresh link.

Can I see the writing before I buy?

Yes. A full section, the privacy and data defaults section, is published free at the preview page. It is the same section paying readers get, not a trimmed sample.

What do the updates include?

When the products move, I go through both guides against the live apps, re-check every deep link, setting, model name, and price, then update anything that changed and add anything new worth knowing. The new edition goes up in the same library you already have, so you open it and the current edition is there. No extra charge. What you are promised is the editions, not a calendar: I am not going to commit to a fixed schedule and then miss it, and the terms say the same. Every published guide release since June 2026 is dated and listed on the changelog, which is the place to check what is current.

What if it doesn't help me?

Email brandon@temperededge.ai within 30 days from the address used at checkout. Include your order reference and a brief note about what did not work. We will refund the purchase in full. Once the refund succeeds, your licence ends and your guide access closes.

Can my team use one purchase?

One purchase covers one person on up to three of their browsers. Each team member needs their own purchase. Email me if you need access for a team.
